Who We Are

I’m Zepha, Director and Founder of Not A Stitch Up. But I am only one of the many pieces that make Not A Stitch Up what is it. Not A Stitch Up represents our team of talented artisans that are the heart and soul of the company.

On a mission to bridge the gap between designer, manufacturer and consumer, we deliver an ethical service. We challenge the usual structure of worldwide fashion production supply chains, that are toxic at every level. We provide transparency, healthy working conditions, quality production and we improve the footprint involved in all stages of production.

As for how we got here?

Not A Stitch Up was the by-product of creating my clothing brand, Last Layer. Spending years working in the production and fashion industry meant I had lived in third-world countries. I had witnessed a range of factories and supply chains, all operating very differently. And I was able to understand the complexities of language barriers, cultural differences and contrasting ethical standards. Production, people and the process behind the brand are the most important aspect to me. A hands on process with no values compromised; Not A Stitch Up was born.
